today's the third day of chinese new year and i had already finished collecting my red packets:( i even had calculated the amount of money and asked my mum to deposit them for me. i still asked mum whether is there anybody i haven't collected red packets from._. upon asking that, i calculated and i got 10 more uncles and married cousins that we don't visit them during chinese new year, not including those in malaysia. if not, i can get a hundred plus bucks more:/
spent my new year eve having steamboat as reunion dinner then walking to imm to get long john sliver as supper with my sis. slept at nearly 1am in the morning as had to 守夜 and 拜拜.
the next day which was the first day, we went to 3 temples in one go. jurong west, paya lebar and loyang. and i didn't tear due to the smoke this year:D but i sweated like crazy due to the hot weather. went to 1 temple sweated, went to another one continue sweating-.- then when going home, went to lot 1 for pizza hut take away. decided to have pizza hut for dinner. going to lot 1 only reminds me of the SHINee autograph session-.- went to imm giant after that to get some stuffs. visited my second aunt in the night. my cousin and her family were there too and her 1 year old daughter is much bigger too, likes to run and dance around, and knows how to call everybody except 'mummy' xD and i realized that i'm not good with babies and kids:( even how cute they are, i don't know how to play with them and can only watch._. i can't let them touch me when i'm sitting because due to their height, their hands will land on my thighs and my thighs are sensitive to people touching-.- seriously, even my cousins who are younger than me can handle them, and even help their mum to babysit them-.- i feel that i'm similar to onew from shinee. we cannot get close to babies and kids D: i want to get close to them and play with them Dx
second day of new year. we only went out when the weather looked like it may start raining any time._. went to another temple and another aunt's house, which was quite near to fion's house. sat at there ate tidbits, listened to my iPod and PSP and played my sis's DS lite. then went home and had the shark fin soup that mum cooked. yum yum:D
third day which is today. again went to another temple and after that went to visit another aunt of mine from mum's side at sengkang. stayed at there till 5 plus before leaving. halfway received a call from my uncle that they had returned from malaysia and we went to woodlands since it's along the way. stayed and chatted till 6 plus before going home.
was telling mum that it's been some time since we went back to malaysia during the chinese new year period. i want go back there during chinese new year because i feel that there is the festive atmosphere back there. can listen to people putting fireworks and everybody will come together and mingle around. but mum said that if my aunt, uncle and we went back together, there's no place for us to sleep and also no place to park the cars-.- not like last time whereby, we can squeeze and sleep together. even my uncle choose to come back to his mother's house to sleep instead of staying at his in-law's place because it's also getting crowded there. so that's why mum don't want to go back:/ she rather wait till i'm having holidays. i miss the festive atmosphere there:( i can't feel the festive atmosphere here._.
